Why does Tet flower color matter in Vietnam?

Red and gold flowers carry explicit meaning for Lunar New Year: red symbolizes luck, joy and good fortune; gold signals prosperity and wealth. Vietnamese families and businesses display these colors on altars, doorways and dining tables during the seven-day holiday. A bouquet in only pink or white, however beautiful, signals sadness or distance rather than celebration. When you send flowers to Vietnam for Tet, the recipient's family will read the colors as a direct statement of your intentions. Same-day delivery means you cannot second-guess your choice later, so confirm the palette with us before we arrange.

Which flowers arrive fresh for Tet same-day delivery?

Chrysanthemums, orchids, and spray roses are the backbone of Tet arrangements because they remain crisp for 5–7 days indoors at room temperature—vital when the holiday spans multiple gatherings. Roses hold firm edges; orchids project elegance and last longest of all; chrysanthemums are affordable and iconic. Peonies and tulips, if imported, arrive closed and may not open fully by Tet Eve if ordered same-day. Local blooms from Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City farms ship directly to your recipient within hours, skipping cold storage and keeping petals supple. Ask us which flowers are in season and locally available when you place your order; same-day arrangements lean on what our florists source that morning, not your wishlist.

What does a same-day Tet order actually include?

When you order a Tet bouquet for same-day delivery, you receive: (1) a designed arrangement in a vase or wrapped hand-tie, built from fresh blooms in red, gold, or lucky combinations; (2) a photo of the finished bouquet sent to you on WhatsApp before the driver departs; (3) delivery to a single address in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.; (4) a printed or digital card message in Vietnamese or English, read aloud by the florist if you request. You do not receive a gift box, premium wrapping, or add-ons like candles or chocolates on same-day orders—those require 1–2 days' notice. The recipient signs for the arrangement (or the driver leaves it with building security if no one is home) and you receive a photo confirmation. Bouquets are sized as "compact," "medium," or "large" based on bloom count and vase height, not exact inches; ask for a quote to compare options.

How do you order from abroad and stay in control?

Order same-day Tet flowers in four steps: (1) Message us on WhatsApp with recipient's full name, address (street, ward, district, city), phone number in Vietnamese format (+84 XXXXXXXXX), and your Tet message. (2) Confirm time zone: you are in a different country; Hanoi/Ho Chi Minh City are 10–15 hours ahead of US time zones. (3) Pay and approve the photo: we send a quote, you transfer funds by international card or bank transfer, and within 1–2 hours our florist sends a photo of your exact arrangement. You approve or request small changes (e.g., "add more red," "use only orchids") before we deliver. (4) Receive confirmation: the driver texts the recipient when 30 minutes away; you get a delivery photo after arrival. Never use a hotel address for same-day; use the home or office address and include a phone number the recipient answers. Same-day fails silently if the phone number is wrong or outside Vietnam.

What goes wrong with same-day Tet orders and how to prevent it?

Problem	Why it happens	How to avoid it
Address incomplete	Missing ward or district name; only "City Center"	Ask recipient for exact address with landmark. Use Google Maps to verify.
Phone number rejected	Wrong format (e.g., "84-969-293-894" or missing country code)	Ask recipient to send their phone number as "+84 9XXXXXXXX" without dashes.
Recipient not home	Driver cannot hand off bouquet; no building security available	Arrange for recipient to be home 8 a.m.–6 p.m. or authorize building staff to receive.
Color mismatch	Florist used pink instead of red due to stock shortage	Confirm final palette in the WhatsApp approval photo before we deliver.
Vase fragile in transit	Glass vase cracks on rough roads in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City	Request a wrapped hand-tie instead of a vase for same-day if worried about damage.

Same-day delivery in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City is reliable when details are precise. Vagueness kills same-day orders.

Who should choose same-day Tet flowers vs. advance orders?

Type of sender	Best for same-day?	Better alternative
Abroad, ordering 5+ days early	No—you pay premium for rush	Order 2–3 days ahead for standard rate and wider selection.
Sending to multiple addresses	No—each address = separate same-day order	Order advance for Tet so one message covers all recipients.
First-time to Vietnam recipient	No—address often wrong or incomplete	Verify address by video call or GPS link first.
Business opening during Tet week	Yes—showcase arrangements quickly	Corporate Tet flowers allow 1-day lead.
Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City or vice versa	No—we do not deliver between cities	Order local: Hanoi flowers or Ho Chi Minh City flowers for same-day.

What to check before you buy:

• Recipient's full address matches Google Maps (including ward/district names).

• Message approved in the photo looks red/gold or uses Tet colors you recognize.
• You have paid in full; we do not hold same-day orders on deposit.

Can you send Tet flowers to cities outside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City?

No. We deliver same-day Lunar New Year flowers only in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Do not order for addresses outside these two cities; the bouquet will not arrive. We recommend you contact a local florist in the recipient's city directly or ask a family member there to arrange flowers in person. For Tet flowers in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, we deliver same-day without exception.

FAQ

Can I send Tet flowers to a hotel or office building if I don't know the street address?

No. Hotels and office towers require apartment/room numbers; delivery fails without them. Ask the recipient for their home address instead. Same-day delivery requires a precise street address and phone number to avoid loss.

What card message should I include in a Tet bouquet?

Write your message in English or Vietnamese; we translate to Vietnamese if needed. Keep it under 20 words: "Happy Lunar New Year, prosperity to you and family" or "Chúc mừng năm mới, vạn sự như ý." Tet messages focus on luck, health, and family joy, not personal news.

Does same-day Tet delivery cost more than regular orders?

Ask us for a quote on WhatsApp. Same-day orders may carry a rush fee depending on design and availability; we confirm price before you pay. Advance Tet orders (2–3 days) often cost less.

What happens if the recipient doesn't answer the phone when the driver arrives?

The driver texts the recipient and waits up to 10 minutes. If no answer, they leave the bouquet with building security or management, photograph it, and send you proof. Confirm the recipient will be home or arrange building access before ordering.
