Flower Delivery Vietnam on Sunday: When & How It Works
By the Vietnam Flower Delivery team · 2026-11-06
Yes—we deliver flowers every Sunday in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City via WhatsApp. Order by Saturday evening your time (adjust for the 12–13 hour time difference from North America, 6–7 hours from Europe) to confirm delivery the next day. Sunday deliveries cost the same as weekday orders; ask us for a quote on WhatsApp. The bouquet arrives fresh between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. at the recipient's address. We send a photo of your exact arrangement before delivery so you see what's arriving. Sunday is popular for birthdays, apologies, and weekend celebrations—order early to avoid delays. We serve only Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City; if your recipient lives elsewhere, we cannot deliver. Order on WhatsApp +84 969 293 894 | How sending from abroad works
What time should you order for Sunday delivery?
Vietnam runs 12–13 hours ahead of U.S. East Coast time and 6–7 hours ahead of Western Europe. If you're in New York and it's Saturday 6 p.m., it's already Sunday 6 a.m. in Vietnam—still safe to order. If you wait until Sunday morning your time, it's late Sunday afternoon in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, and delivery may slip to Monday. Message us on WhatsApp with your intended delivery date; we confirm availability within minutes and lock in the slot.
Bottom line: Saturday evening your time = Sunday morning Vietnam time = on-time delivery.

Can you really see the bouquet before it's delivered?
Yes—we photograph the exact bouquet we're about to send and share it on WhatsApp before the driver leaves our shop. You approve, request tweaks, or confirm. This protects you: no guessing whether red roses arrived or a substitute mix. The photo shows the real vase, real flowers, real size, and real condition the moment it leaves our hands. Delivery takes 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the address within Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City traffic. Your recipient gets a text or call from the driver a few minutes before arrival so they're home.
Bottom line: Photo confirmation = zero surprises on Sunday or any day.
How do you order flowers to Vietnam from another country?
- Find the recipient's Vietnamese phone number and street address (including ward and district).
- Message us on WhatsApp with the date, recipient name, address, phone, and what you'd like to send (roses, mixed bouquet, with cake, etc.).
- We quote a price; you pay by card or bank transfer.
- We confirm the order and send a photo of your bouquet the morning of delivery.
- The recipient receives flowers at their door.
The whole process works asynchronously: you don't need to be awake when we arrange or deliver. We handle all communication with the recipient in Vietnamese if needed. Our guide to sending flowers to Vietnam walks through payment methods, time zones, and addressing in detail. For Ho Chi Minh City specifically, see our flower delivery in Ho Chi Minh City page; for Hanoi, see flower delivery in Hanoi.
Bottom line: WhatsApp + photo confirmation + payment by card or transfer = simple cross-border gifting.

What Sunday occasions call for flowers in Vietnam?
| Occasion | When in year | Why flowers work | Best types |
|---|---|---|---|
| Birthday | Any Sunday | Celebrate & brighten the day | Mixed colors, sunflowers, personalized card |
| Anniversary or apology | Any Sunday | Show up fast & sincerely | Red roses, premium stems |
| Women's Day | March 8 (or nearby Sunday) | Tradition; every woman honored | Red roses, pink carnations |
| Mother's Day | 2nd Sunday in May | Gratitude & warmth | Pink/red roses, tulips |
| Tet reunion (Jan/Feb) | Lunar New Year season | Prosperity & family welcome | Marigolds, apricot blossoms, dried fruits |
| Get-well or sympathy | Any Sunday | Comfort when hospitals/homes open | Soft colors, no pointed stems |
Most Sunday orders are last-minute birthdays or spontaneous apologies. Flowers make impact the same day without the cost or logistics of flying in. Our birthday flowers collection, Mother's Day flowers, Women's Day flowers, and anniversary and love flowers pages show what's available year-round.
What can go wrong and how do you avoid it?
Wrong address format: Vietnamese addresses use district, ward, and street names that differ by city. A Hanoi ward name (Hoàn Kiếm, Tây Hồ) is not in Ho Chi Minh City. If you only know the recipient's neighborhood by nickname or English translation, tell us—we'll clarify the correct Vietnamese format so the driver finds them. Confirm the full address before payment.
Phone number mismatch: Vietnamese mobile numbers start with 08, 09, 01, or 03 and are 10 digits. If you have an old landline or a wrong digit, the driver can't reach the recipient on delivery day. Double-check the number with the recipient beforehand or ask us to verify.
Time zone order timing: Ordering Sunday morning your time when it's already Sunday evening in Vietnam means missed delivery. Calculate backwards: if you're 12 hours behind, order Saturday your time. Use a time zone converter (Google "12 p.m. Sunday New York to Hanoi time") and add a 2-hour safety margin.
Recipient not home: Vietnam flower delivery assumes someone is home 9 a.m.–6 p.m. If the address is a shared apartment and no one answers, ask the recipient to brief the building guard or provide an alternate phone for the driver. Message us if the recipient will be away so we can arrange a pickup point or reschedule.
Vase & card preferences missed: Our flowers with gifts collection includes options with cakes, chocolate, and other add-ons. If you want a specific vase style or a card in Vietnamese, tell us in your WhatsApp message—we accommodate custom requests. Vague requests sometimes lead to standard choices.
What to check before you order
- Recipient's full Vietnamese address (street, ward, district, city)
- Their phone number (10 digits, starts with 0)
- Your time zone vs. Vietnam's (12–13 hours if U.S. East, 6–7 if Europe)
- Payment method ready (card or bank transfer; ask us for details)
- Occasion (birthday, sympathy, anniversary) so we pick the right style
- Any card message preferences or language (English or Vietnamese)
- Delivery window (9 a.m.–6 p.m., confirm a specific day)

We deliver every Sunday, including holidays. Lunar New Year and Tet may have brief closures—ask us in advance. Sunday pricing is the same as weekday pricing. No holiday surcharge.
What if the recipient's address is in a rural area outside Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City?
We deliver only within Hanoi city proper and Ho Chi Minh City proper. If the address is in surrounding provinces (Hà Nội's outskirts, Bình Dương, Đồng Nai), we cannot reach it. Tell us the district; we'll confirm whether it's in our service zone.
Can we request a specific arrangement size or style for Sunday?

Is there an extra fee for Sunday delivery or rush orders?
No Sunday or rush surcharge. Price depends on the type of flowers and arrangement. Ask us for a quote on WhatsApp based on what you want to send.
What if the recipient doesn't answer the driver's call on Sunday?
The driver will call and text the recipient. If no one answers after two attempts, the driver returns to our shop and we contact you. Have the recipient brief their building guard or apartment building management in advance so the driver can hand off the bouquet safely.

For birthdays: "Chúc mừng sinh nhật, mong bạn có ngày tuyệt vời." (Happy birthday, wishing you a wonderful day.) For apologies: "Xin lỗi vì điều đã xảy ra, tôi rất tiếc."
