Flower Delivery Vietnam from Thailand: Payment & Ordering Guide

By the Vietnam Flower Delivery team · 2026-11-06

When you order flowers from Thailand to Vietnam through Hoa Lang Thang, payment happens via international card or bank transfer—no cash, no middlemen. We confirm your order and Vietnamese recipient's phone number on WhatsApp, then our team in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City arranges the bouquet. You'll receive a photo of the real arrangement before delivery (usually within 24–48 hours of order). Thailand is one hour ahead of Vietnam, so morning orders from Bangkok arrive by afternoon in Hanoi. Avoid ordering without a valid Vietnamese mobile number for the recipient—we cannot deliver without it. Ask us for a quote on WhatsApp; pricing depends on design, flowers, and delivery location in our two cities. How sending from abroad works

How do international payments work for Vietnam flower orders?

We accept two payment methods: international debit or credit card (via secure gateway) and international bank transfer. No PayPal, no cryptocurrency. Cards are processed instantly; bank transfers clear within 1–3 business days depending on your Thai bank and correspondent. Once payment clears, we confirm with you and immediately start arranging the bouquet. Ask us for a quote on WhatsApp—we'll send a bank account number or card link after you've described the flowers you want. Never send money without confirming the order details first; miscommunication delays delivery.

What time difference should I expect when ordering from Thailand?

Thailand is UTC+7; Vietnam is UTC+7 (same zone—no lag). If you order at 9 a.m. Bangkok time, it's also 9 a.m. in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. However, our teams close in the evening and may not start arranging until next morning. Ordering by midday Thailand time ensures same-day or next-morning delivery in Vietnam. Weekend and Vietnamese public holiday orders (Tet, National Day, Lunar New Year) may take 24–48 hours longer. Check the recipient's availability before ordering rush deliveries.

What Vietnamese phone number and address details do I need?

The recipient must have a valid Vietnamese mobile number (11 digits, starting with +84 or 0). We text and call to confirm they're home. You'll also provide their street address in Vietnamese characters (ask the recipient to send it in full or we can transliterate Roman text—but Vietnamese spelling is safer). "District 1, Ho Chi Minh City" is too vague; we need a building number, street name, and ward. Many Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City recipients live in apartments—include the apartment number and building entrance name. Vague addresses cause delays or failed deliveries; we'll ask for clarification before charging you.

Which flower designs work best for occasions from abroad?

Flower choice depends on why you're sending. We offer designs for every Vietnamese occasion—and each carries meaning. Birthday flowers are bright and celebratory (sunflowers, gerberas, asters) and suit any age. Mother's Day and Women's Day (March 8) feature roses and lilies in warm tones. Anniversary and love bouquets use red roses, imported premium varieties. Tet flowers (lunar New Year) include gold and red arrangements—auspicious colors. Sympathy and funeral flowers are white, cream, or soft pink—no red, no yellow. Grand openings and corporate gifts use bold tropical arrangements or mixed color designs that signal prosperity.

How to avoid payment and delivery failures?

Before you order:

  • Confirm the recipient's exact Vietnamese address (street, ward, district, city—in Vietnamese if possible).
  • Verify their mobile number (call or text them; typos cause missed deliveries).
  • Check delivery date against Vietnamese public holidays (Tet, National Day—29 Sept).
  • Clarify your budget: ask us for a quote on WhatsApp so you know the full cost upfront.
  • Choose occasion type (birthday, sympathy, corporate) so we suggest the right design.

During payment:

  • Use a card or bank account registered to your name.
  • Never send money before we confirm the order; screenshots of "confirmation" from unknown sources are fake.
  • Keep WhatsApp messages and bank receipts for your records.

After payment:

  • Wait for our WhatsApp photo of the real bouquet (we send it before delivery; reject if it's not what you ordered).
  • Ensure the recipient has their phone on—we call 30 minutes before arrival.
  • Tip: send a card message in Vietnamese (we can help translate) so the recipient knows it's from you.

Common failures: wrong address → bounced delivery. No phone contact → recipient misses driver. Vague occasion → mediocre design. Tet or holiday orders without 48-hour buffer → late arrival.

Can you deliver outside Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City?

No. We deliver only in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. If your recipient lives elsewhere, we cannot help—we'll tell you plainly on WhatsApp. Do not ask for exceptions or workarounds; we prioritize reliability in our two cities over overpromising. If unsure where your recipient lives, ask them for their city name before ordering.

What about card messages in Vietnamese or English?

You can send a card message in English or Vietnamese. We'll include it with the bouquet. English messages suit casual senders; Vietnamese messages feel more personal in Vietnam. Common card messages:

  • Birthday (English): "Happy Birthday! Thinking of you."
  • Birthday (Vietnamese): "Chúc mừng sinh nhật! Tuổi mới hạnh phúc!" (Happy birthday! May this year bring joy!)
  • Mother's Day (Vietnamese): "Mẹ yêu, cảm ơn mẹ! Mong mẹ luôn khỏe." (Dear Mom, thank you! I wish you health and happiness.)
  • Sympathy (Vietnamese): "Chia buồn cùng gia đình. Gửi lời chia buồn sâu sắc." (My condolences to your family. Please accept my deep sympathy.)

Write your message in English; we'll translate or deliver as-is. Include it in your WhatsApp order.

How long does delivery take from Thailand order to Vietnam arrival?

Same-day delivery (if you order by 11 a.m. Vietnam time) usually arrives by 5–6 p.m. next-day delivery arrives by noon the following day. Weekend orders may take until Monday. Tet, National Day, or other public holidays add 24–48 hours—always ask us for the expected date before paying. International payment (card) clears instantly; bank transfer takes 1–3 days. So the full timeline: payment clears → we arrange bouquet (2–4 hours) → photo sent to you (30 mins) → you approve → delivery (24 hours or same-day, depending on timing). Total: 1–3 days from your WhatsApp order to recipient's hands.

What if the recipient isn't home or refuses delivery?

Our driver calls the recipient 30 minutes before arrival. If they don't answer or they're not home, the driver waits up to 15 minutes, then returns to our shop. The flowers stay fresh in our fridge. You can rearrange a new delivery time with us on WhatsApp (no extra charge for the first reattempt). If the recipient refuses delivery, we offer a one-time reshoot of the bouquet for a different recipient. This is why confirming the recipient's availability and correct phone number is crucial.

FAQ

Do I need to pay in Thai baht or Vietnamese dong?

Neither. Payment is in your home currency (USD, EUR, GBP, etc.) via international card or bank transfer. We quote prices in a neutral format; ask us on WhatsApp and we'll clarify the exact amount in your currency before you commit.

What if my credit card is declined?

Most declines happen because the card issuer blocks international transactions. Contact your Thai bank to authorize Vietnam payments before ordering. If declined after authorization, try bank transfer instead. We'll send you account details on WhatsApp—transfer takes 1–3 days to clear.

Can I add gifts (chocolate, cake, teddy bear) to the bouquet?

Yes. We offer flowers bundled with gifts—cakes, chocolates, or small toys paired with arrangements. Describe what you want on WhatsApp; we'll add it and quote the total. Ask us for options; not all gifts are available on every order date.

Do you deliver on Vietnamese public holidays (Tet, National Day)?

We deliver on most holidays in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, but orders placed during Tet (Lunar New Year week) or National Day (Sept 2–3) may delay 24–48 hours. Staff may be reduced. Always ask us for the expected delivery date when ordering near a holiday—do not assume next-day arrival.

What happens if I spell the address wrong?

Our driver will call the recipient to clarify; if they're unreachable, delivery fails and we reschedule. Always ask the recipient to send their address in Vietnamese or provide a Google Maps pin. Typos in street names or ward names cause the most delays. We'll ask for confirmation on WhatsApp before dispatch.
